Just Breathe

Hello again! And if you’re new here, welcome, I’m glad you’re here.

The name of this blog, Vidasinprisa, is Spanish and translates to “life without rush” in English. Honestly, it’s been on my mind a lot this week. It’s a reminder to slow down, be present, and not let life pass by so quickly. After taking some time to reflect, I realized just how rushed I’ve been feeling lately, and how much I need to be more intentional with my time and energy.

I hope you all had a chance to recharge and are starting to feel like yourselves again.

One thing that’s been helping me is mindful breathing. It’s made me more aware of what I’m doing and reminds me to just slow down for a moment.

A simple technique, that can be done anywhere that, I’ve been using is the 4-6-8 breathing method: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 6, and exhale for 8. Doing this about 3–5 times really helps slow things down and clear my head. I’ve especially noticed it helps when I start to feel overwhelmed or overstimulated, it brings me back and helps me feel more grounded.
